Brown Beauty Chat: Farmacy HoneyMoon Glow Review

So if you’re not familiar with Farmacy they are a small brand sold in Sephora. They are naturally derived with their own patented ingredient Echinacea Green Envy (a plant that is high in antioxidants and prevents fine lines and wrinkles), grown on their farms in upstate New York. Most products from this brand are hydration based so when I saw that they came out with a resurfacing product with 14% AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) I was definitely intrigued. When I see the word AHA on a skincare product I get extremely excited. Resurfacing products do so much for the skin and I feel like you can always see amazing results. One the most important from an AHA product is glowing smooth skin.

The serum is described on Sephora.com as a powerful night serum that resurfaces the skin and reduces the look of pores and fine lines, formulated with a 14 percent AHA/BHA gentle flower acid blend to exfoliate and honey to hydrate. Its perfect for all skin types and is infused with Echinacea GreenEnvy, honey and hyaluronic acid for intense hydration.

I’ve tried this product for almost two weeks and I have to say that I love it. Unlike most strong resurfacing masks/treatments this one leaves the skin supple and hydrated without any irritation. On the label of the product, it warns that the product stings the skin and should be used 2/3 times a week. Since I’m a peel fanatic and my skin is pretty used to AHA/BHA I used it nightly and it didn’t irritate my skin whatsoever. I’ve noticed a nice glow and refined texture in my skin with continued use. The product retails at Sephora and Sephora.com for $58.
