Let’s jump into the spring trends that are serving this season and how to make them work for you.
1. Modern Boho Chic

Boho is back, but this time it’s more elevated and structured—think Chloe runway meets street-style edge. I styled a flowy H&M dress that felt a little overwhelming at first, but with a few tweaks, it totally transformed into a look I loved.
Styling Tip: I pinned the side to create a peek-a-boo slit, added my denim Paris Texas boots, and finished with a suede Joe Paris bag and Amazon sunnies. It gave that modern boho feel but still felt true to me. If you want to soften the look, pair with sandals. For more edge? Add a crop jacket and suede boots like my Stuart Weitzman pair.
Style Hack: Don’t be afraid to tweak your pieces to fit your body and aesthetic—play with proportions, layers, and accessories to get the vibe just right.
2. Sporty Chic Comeback

Athleisure continues to evolve, and I’m here for it. This season, it’s all about pairing sporty silhouettes with unexpected feminine pieces for balance.
Key Piece: My COS parka-style jacket. It’s functional, versatile, and cool. I layered it over a muted dress from Zara and finished the look with snakeskin mules, a silver mini bag, and my go-to Amazon sunnies.
Why It Works: It brings a high-low effect that feels stylish without trying too hard. For days you want to be comfy but still put together, this is the trend to try.
Wear it Your Way: Try your track jackets or hoodies with satin skirts, wide-leg jeans, or slip dresses. Don’t forget a sleek pair of sneakers or chunky sandals to complete the look.
3. Flirty Fringe

Yes, fringe is flirty, fun, and 100% in for Spring 2025. Whether it’s a statement bag, jacket, or shoes—fringe adds movement and texture that elevates any look.
Star Item: A brown fringe jacket from Penthouse Furs (a Black-owned brand I love). I styled it two ways: with wide-leg Acne Studios jeans and a simple H&M tank, and then again with a green cami to break up the brown tones.
Pro Tip: Monochromatic looks are huge right now, but mix tones within the same color family for depth. Think camel, cocoa, and caramel—all together.
Wearable Edge: Fringe doesn’t have to be over-the-top. Try subtle fringe bags or outerwear for a trend-forward yet wearable look.
4. Butter Yellow Everything

This soft pastel shade is the color of the season. It feels fresh and romantic, yet neutral enough to work into your everyday wardrobe.
Look I Love: I styled a pale yellow tank with textured trousers from H&M, gold accessories, and a red Gucci bag for an unexpected pop of color.
Why It Works: Butter yellow complements a wide range of skin tones and is easy to style with white, denim, or bold hues like red or forest green.
Office-Friendly: Pair yellow trousers with a white button-down or blazer for a professional take. Don’t forget texture—it makes simple pieces feel luxe.
5. Playful Polka Dots

Polka dots are a classic that always circles back, and this spring they’re bolder than ever. From skirts to blouses, we’re seeing dots make a stylish splash.
My Take: I re-wore a cropped Urban Revivo blouse with River Island tailored shorts and new Steve Madden heels. It’s a look that feels fresh, retro, and flirty all at once.
Try This: If you’re hesitant, ease into the trend with accessories like a scarf or headband. Or go full glam with a dotted midi dress and heels.
Bonus Tip: Mix polka dots with stripes or florals for an editorial vibe—just keep the colors in the same family to avoid clashing.
These top 5 spring trends are not only wearable and chic, but they can easily be styled with pieces you already own. The key is to experiment, re-style, and elevate what you have with intention.
And remember, trends are just a guide. Your personal style is what makes it fashion.
