If you’re anything like myself and are obsessed with makeup, then the newest launch of Pat McGrath’s foundation was the highlight of your week. If your unfamiliar with who Pat McGrath is she is named the most “influential makeup artist in the world” and “fashions worlds most important makeup artist.” A woman of color hailing from Northhampton England, she has worked for many of the fashion runways creating unique beauty looks and has been a Creative Design Director for many beauty brands. Her line of beauty products from Pat Mcgrath Labs are always cutting edge, innovative, and high quality. Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation is her first launch into complexion that isn’t highlighter, so it’s a big deal. Lastly, she’s the only fully black-owned beauty line sold in Sephora!
The Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation is a customizable foundation that builds to sheer to medium coverage.

Foundation Facts:
Unique Polymers: Gives smoothness and luminosity
High Purity Pigments: helps enhance wear and make coverage buildable
Diamond Core Powder: Enhances radiance and decreases the appearance of skin imperfections
The foundation is oil, paraben, and fragrance-free.

Upon putting on this foundation, I noticed that the coverage is very buildable. You can make the foundation very sheer with the use of fingertips or add the coverage needed in areas of the face. The finish is luminous, so if you’re on the oily side like me, then the foundation will need to be set with a powder and used with a mattifying primer. One of the best things about this foundation is that it looks like skin! I do enjoy full coverage foundation, but I loved the fact that it felt lightweight and made my skin look perfect.
All in all, I think this foundation is worth the price and hype. It’s a gorgeous formula that is buildable without having to use a ton of foundation to get the coverage that is needed. If you’re on the dry side, this foundation will be your best friend as you can wear it all day every day. If you’re on the oilier side, then this foundation won’t be your stay all day from work-home then lounge coverup, but its still wearable. I will try this foundation with her primer and powder at a later time to see if that makes a difference for oily skin.
The foundation retails for $68 and is sold at Sephora.com & Patmcgrath.com
Your makeup looks amazing! This foundation looks so natural but still can tell your wearing something. I’ve never tried her foundations before so now I have to!
